Senior Marketer (32-40 hours) - Zoetermeer

About the role

As a Senior Marketer, you are the driving force behind the marketing at JK Beautyshop. Together with the owners and the business manager, you determine the direction and ensure it is effectively executed. You will lead the content team and our marketing agency. You will focus on the further growth of The GelBottle in the Benelux region, create impact with our own brands Klear and Shape it up, and ensure that the other brands sold through JK Beautyshop have better visibility. We sell to nail technicians, salons, and wholesalers via our webshop. Growth into new European markets is also on the agenda, and you will ensure that our marketing strategy scales accordingly.

What will you do?

  • Draft and execute the marketing plan and campaign calendar
  • Develop campaigns and promotions for both professionals (B2B) and consumers (B2C)
  • Manage the content team for Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, and website banners
  • Further develop email marketing and automations in Klaviyo
  • Collaborate with our marketing agency and monitor the results of paid campaigns
  • Analyze and report on results, and adjust strategies based on data
  • Oversee product launches, including for The GelBottle
  • Set up marketing for new sales channels and international markets
  • Increase cross-selling across the various brands

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) level, preferably in marketing or communications
  • At least 5 years of experience in (online) marketing, preferably in e-commerce or beauty
  • Experience with email marketing, social media, and performance marketing
  • You are data-driven and know how to translate figures into actions
  • You possess strong planning, prioritizing, and leadership skills
  • You have excellent writing skills in Dutch; English is a plus
  • Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is a plus
  • You are creative, independent, and take initiative
  • Affinity with the nail and beauty industry

JK Beautyshop is a young and fast-growing company that sells premium brands in the manicure and pedicure industry. Since 2017, we have been the official importer of The GelBottle for the Benelux and Spain, one of the most popular professional nail brands today. From our office and warehouse in Zoetermeer, we supply nail technicians, salons, and wholesalers both domestically and internationally on a daily basis. Customer satisfaction is always our top priority.
